Toll Free number service is designated for organizations that facilitate its caller either inside or outside Thailand to make a free call. The called organization, that applied for the service, will be fully charged for its caller with domestic or international service charge. As a result, it is suitable for tourist business, hotel business, call center, organization, etc., that needs to induce its customers to make a free call. Such a service comprises

NT free phone Service

• ITFN (International Toll Free Number),an international collect call service via direct routing.
  
  ITFN service is an international collect call service, where the called party is charged for the caller. It can support 2 usage types as follows.
  1. Incoming calls from abroad to Thailand
     For this usage type, the service applicants in Thailand want to enable their customer to make inbound calls directly to Thailand, as well as, to specify the call origination country. For example, enabling inbound calls to Thailand from the United States. The service applicants will be responsible for the service charge, for the caller in the United States. When applying for the service, they will receive an ITFN number in the format 1800-xxx-xxx to promote to their customers abroad.
     Service Charge
     • Incoming calls to ITFS numbers are charged the same rate as the NT 001 service charge
     • System fee: 1,000 Baht/month/number
     • For outgoing calls from Thailand (Outgoing ITFS), the called party abroad is responsible for service charge
     • For incoming calls from abroad (Incoming ITFS) to Thailand, the called party in Thailand is responsible for service charge.

  2. Outgoing calls to abroad can be made by dialing 1-800-xxxx-xxxx (xxxx-xxxx is the dial code which is assigned for each destination country). The caller is not responsible for the service charge.

 

• UIFN (Universal International Free phone Number) ServiceInternational collect call service, calling from multiple countries to Thailand with a single number.
  
  Similar to ITFN service, UIFN service is an international collect call service, where the called parties pay the service charge. It can support more than 20 countries. Therefore, it is suitable for users who want to advertise the company's contact numbers to customers with a single number in multiple countries (no need to separate numbers for each country like ITFN). National Telecom Public Company Limited will assign UIFN numbers in the format 001-800-xxxx-xxxx to advertise to customers abroad.
  Service Charge
  • Incoming calls to UIFN numbers are charged the same rate as the NT 001 service charge.
  • UIFN application fee (NRC): 15,000 Baht/ number.
  • Service fee (YRC): 3,500 Baht/year/ number
  • For outgoing calls from Thailand (Outgoing UIFN), the called party abroad is responsible for service charge
  • For incoming calls from abroad (Incoming UIFN) to Thailand, the called party in Thailand is responsible for service charge.

• DTFN (Domestic Toll Free Number) service Domestic collect call service where the caller and the called party are in Thailand and the caller is not responsible for the service charge. Its call format is 1800 010 xxx
  Remark: In case the called number is an international number, customers can switch to either NT 001 or NT 009 service.
  Service Charge
  • Service fee (MRC): 1,000 Baht/ month/ number
  • Airtime charge:
    • Domestic call: 3 Baht/ min.
    • Call forward to an international number is charged the same rate as NT 001 or NT 009 service charge.
