- Hosted PBX service or Cloud PBX service is a service for renting a PABX phone system through a Cloud Computing network that is designed to replace PABX, so users do not have to invest in installing PABX. Users are able to communicate using an extension number, make a call to other destinations, transfer calls, pull calls, and hold calls as well as Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system with VoIP device such as IP phone connected to a Cloud PBX via Internet of any service provider.
